LTG Transportation is a specialized carrier, operating 2 minidecks and 1 stretch minideck, focusing on over-height cargo that is too risky or too expensive for regular RGN trailers to transport.
LTG trucks are based in Denton, TX, Tulsa, OK and Baltimore, MD. Due to our focus on over-height cargo (of any length or width), our trucks tend to spend the majority of their time bouncing from shippers in the eastern half of the U.S. into east coast cities and ports, then back to destinations throughout the eastern half of the U.S. We regularly deliver and reload in ports like Newark, NJ, Baltimore, MD, Norfolk, VA, Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, Brunswick, GA and Jacksonville, FL. LTG does not have lanes - each load is a project (frequently a superload), often requiring route surveys, permits, escorts, coordination with public utilities, bucket trucks and state and local police departments. LTG does not do backhauls - instead, we use regular RGN loads, sourced from various brokers on load boards, to transition our equipment from project to project. LTG operates in 48 states. The majority of our work is in the eastern half, due to its lower legacy infrastructure, but we have performed projects for our brokerage partners throughout the western states as well, including virtually all gulf coast and west coast ports.
