A reputation for safety, reliability, financial integrity and the ability to handle specialized loads
After almost 20 years in the corporate world as a head hunter, corporate recruiter, recruiting manager and independent consultant in the Professional Services, Banking, Telecom and Healthcare sectors, Wade Haught felt like something was missing. He wanted to be inspired. He wanted his work to be more tangible. He was looking for a chance to run his own P&L and to benefit from the high level of passion and commitment he brought to his work. Wade left the corporate world, obtained his CDL and started LTG Transportation's DOT Authority in 2005 with one truck and a step deck trailer which he drove himself. Wade began hauling over-dimension loads almost immediately in 2005 while servicing a dedicated account.

Over the years Wade added specialized trailers to compete for larger and larger loads and projects, while attracting some amazing owner-operators with similar interests. LTG Transportation developed a reputation for safety, reliability, financial integrity and the ability to handle specialized loads and projects for our clients. Travis Haught (Wade's son) joined the business in 2017 as office manager. Due to our high volume of oversize permit orders, Travis brought permitting in house to give LTG more control and faster turn-around. Travis also automated the back office, from accounting to compliance, bringing a new level of transparency and efficiency in support of our lease operators. Wade continues to drive and bring a driver's perspective to the operation, ensuring that LTG Transportation is "a driver's company", able to attract and retain top owner-operators with significant over-dimension experience, sound business practices, ethics and customer focus.
